Ariana Gillrie is an award winning visual content creator and photographer who works alongside brands and businesses to bring their visual content to life as stills, stop motion, or short form video.

Ariana has most recently been the Head Photographer and Head of Content Creation for Brisbane based Australian brand, Youfoodz, shooting everything from their large print and digital campaigns, packaging, retail shots for supermarkets, and social channels, working to take their goals as a brand into a visual reality.

Food and product photography became some of her main staples, but she excels in shooting people and large campaigns, and can’t wait to show you what she can do with your brand/product/shoot.

Where did this obsession start you ask?

She found her love of shooting through music, and was fortunate enough to shoot some of her favourite bands and learning a love for lighting at those gigs before branching out into more styles, and has since worked professionally in Canada, the US, Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Ariana also has a love for both digital and film and the different ways they can be used and pushed and experimented with, and she shoots with medium format, 35mm, and polaroid film as well as her digital work.

Her works have been on display in Toronto, and Vancouver Canada as well as New Zealand and Germany. She was also chosen as a winner for Magenta: Flash Forward 2013, where she was recognised as one of Canada's Emerging Photographers.

Ariana Gillrie was raised like a true wanderer, between countries and sometimes in a bus, caravan, or boat and has since lived and adventured around the globe. She is busy with her family when not shooting; her daughter Arrow and son Wilder, and planning their next adventures with her fiancée Sean, but now has her feet firmly planted with her family in the best place in the world, the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia.

For working enquiries, Ariana shoots mostly between the Sunshine Coast of Queensland and Brisbane / Gold Coast, but loves a travel so all enquires are welcome.
